Malik, thanks for the e-mail and the well wishes. Typically money isn't revealed as we don't make nearly as much as you think but salaries are increasing. The top guys make quite a bit because the have factory contracts and clothing contracts.

What made you so fast?!!? I am 7 years old and have just started racing. You are one of my favorite riders. I have your MXS Roadchamps toy and it's my favorite. Are you going to race next year? How old were you when you started racing? I ride an XR50 with modified suspension. My number is 811. I hope you have good luck racing!!! How many mechanics do you have? Are you riding the same bike that you did last year? I hope I am as fast as you someday!!!

Harrison thanks for the e-mail. Yes I will be riding next year and most likely with Motowordracing.com team. I get a new bike every year since this is my livelyhood. I have one mechanic assigned to me this year. When I was a privateer and going to races with my dad he was the mechanic. Thanks for owning my toy.

Q

hey greg i always get third place in the intermidiate class and i am wondering if i should sell my 1983 yz 250 and get an 1985 or 86 honda cr 250. i was just wondering what you think about my problem. later, boyal

  Greg Schnell

A

Brett, to get third place on a 83 YZ250 is awesome. The new bikes have a distinct advantage over the older bikes as technology has come a long ways. If you get a bike which is new too two years old you would most likely have a lot less repairs and be able to spend more time on the track which would most likely you would improve. Bike time is number one with some cross training.
