250cc Rider Jamey Grosser broke his ankle at Corcron Fairgrounds during a mid air collision with another rider during his heat race.  Jamey said, “the usual top guys were up front and then some kid who pulled a miracle start.  He did some strange things and as I was passing him when he jumped into me.  As I flew off the bike and was on the track the bike decided it was a good idea to land on my ankle.  I was a groggy and sore.  I walked off, loaded up and headed home.  On Monday I went into the hospital and found out it was broke.  It appears I’ll be out a minimum of four weeks.  This will give me more time to dedicate to my riding schools I’ll be doing this summer”.
